Thank you.
I'm having the clerks open a tab for them, so you can give them whatever you want as long as you think they're good to pay us back for it. I already told them they could have gasoline. Be careful with John Hwang. He's a little slippery and he's going to try to flatter you.
Let me know what you're thinking for the stage. Obviously lumber is no big thing to them so I'm hoping we can get a good deal on it. [...] I have some ideas too.

I don't think he'd know what to do with that.
Of course you want a thrust. We can do all this. It'll help the space feel intimate on slow trade nights without making the stage itself feel small.
A fly system, so you can swap out the sets and backdrops quickly. It'd be nice to have a rotating repertoire of four or five full productions to incentivize people to spend more time here. Soundproofing, so it's not an earsore on the Depot. It'll help with the acoustics, too. [...] And I want it to have an art deco ceiling. Like an old Hollywood movie palace.

Do they?
Weβre in rural Washington. Thereβs nothing like that here.

Unlucky for you, really. If I hadn't come back you could be second in command around here by now.
I'm not sure ambition suits you, Edgar de Leon.
He was a little bit more charismatic. But [....] thanks.
Tell me.
Tell me.
I earned their trust. And I suppose I like talking more than a lot of people from there.
God. He got on my case for eyebrow acting when I was seventeen.

We have kids. I think that's part of why we ended up so serious.
[...] I'm going to see your show on Friday. It's good that you made it. One day I'll [...] ask how he died, but since you haven't offered, I assume it's not a good story.

My kids? Parents? No. Siblings? Maybe out there somewhere. I try not to think about it too much.
I'll wait.
