If I can be completely and totally 120% honest, I wasn't sure how long this trip could last with or without Carnelian and I maybe expected our lack of survival skills to catch up to us sooner or later. And look, we're surviving AND thriving (without a dictionary I'm fudging the definition of thriving) now!!
