Oh she just wanted me to go and see what Niko has to say about me when he's been drinking and if I don't go then SHE'S gonna go and tell me everything he says and I started trying to remember all of my interactions with him and what if he says I'm overeager or just a nice new friend or WORSE doesn't even SAY anything about me or think about me even though I literally live here and he'll be here and I think I forgot how to use commas I need to lie down

Yes!!! But what if he just felt bad saying no or he's had time to realize I'm shallow or annoying or more the kinda guy you like to hang out with sometimes but there's really no need to hit him up every time you're in town and I coulda avoided knowing any of that if I didn't go and eavesdrop on him

So the rational part of me says that if he doesn't like you like that, it's better to know as soon as possible, but the fragile part of my psyche is going AAAAAAA at the thought of ever finding out someone doesn't like me.

The polycule isn't a secret, I suppose. Although this goes some way towards explaining why no one has confessed their amorous feelings for me.
